How to create and assign new number range in SAP for Order / Delivery and Billing

 How to create new number range in SAP for Order / Delivery and Billing  Number ranges:  1.Internal Number range - Auto 2. External Number range - manually ..E.g  For One time customer  1. Internal Number range: Internal number range is maintained for generate Order / Delivery and Invoice number automatically in serial manner. E.g- We have set Number range for Biling Type XYZ from 0001 to 0005 then when first invoice will generate then first invoice number will be 0001...then 2nd invoice will be 0002.... Now we will see step by step how to create number ranges.  1.Use Tcode - VN01 or you can go through SPRO path. How to import TR in Quality and Production Server - SAP BASIS

  • Types Of Transport Request are: 

    1.Customizing Request 
    2.Workbench Request
    3.Transport of copies
Import TR into Quality Step by Step Guide:

  • First we need to release TR in Development Server.
How to release Transport Request (TR) from Development Server?


Go to SE09 - Then you will get below window.


When you click on execute button you will get all transport Request ( TR) 


Then select TR which you want to release,


First click on child TR - TSDK902177 and release 

Then Release main TR 


How to import Transport Request (TR) in Quality Server?

T-Code - STMS_IMPORT
  • When click on STMS_IMPORT then you will get all TR
  • Find your TR - Ctr + F
Select TR and then click on release button given in below image.
  • Then Target client will be Quality Client 
Below Three tab - Date /Execution / Option
  • Date - Immediately
  • Execution - Synchronous
  • Option - First 4 ticks  

    How to import Transport Request (TR) in Production Server?
    • Follow same process for Production Server.
